This project is looking to raise £300,000 by October 2008 and more money is desperately needed.

They are asking for a minmum donation of just £2.00 and here is what the money can buy:

95 donating members = a store of clean clothing for each child or young person in our care

450 donating members = a fully equipped Baby Room, providing facilities for three abandoned babies

500 donating members = a fully equipped mother and baby room, for a woman seeking refuge from homelessness or domestic violence to care for herself and her child in safety

1000 donating members = a Counselling Room with specialist materials to give therapy and guidance to children who have suffered abuse

2000 donating members = a Children’s Library, with books and magazines and one computer station, providing a place of interest and learning

62,500 donating members = all internal furnishing and equipping costs for the facility

150,000 donating members = a completely fitted-out facility, from window frames and office furniture, to play equipment and learning materials, and funding to enable us to provide this place of refuge for children and families in need for many years to come.
