I went along to the rabbit fest 2010 even in Cochrane, Dominica. The event has a complete rabbit theme with everything from
- Rabbit races
- Buying rabbits
- Rabbit contests
- Rabbit face painting
and yes…..
- Rabbit Stew!
I went along with Natasha Henderson and her family, it was really kind of them to invite me and so great to be among a wonderful supportive family. I almost felt like I was on the Crosby Show there was so much love 
During the day the current Prime Minister of Dominica Hon. roosevelt Skerrit made an appearance and I got to meet him too after catching him on video (he appears about a minute and a half into the video)
The views around Cochrane and driving up to the event were amazing – they village is quite high up and I really wanted to return and spend some time there when it wasn’t full of people at an event!
It really was a shame about the rain – it did eventually stop and I was told that all the rabbit activities took place but we left around 4pm and so I missed it.
